<p>Yes, former comedian Al Franken is now Minnesota&#8217;s senator-elect &#8212; thanks to the state Supreme Court&#8217;s ruling Tuesday &#8212; giving Democrats enough members in the Senate to hit a filibuster-proof majority. This is no laughing matter. </p>
