The Super Majority was launched shortly after the 2009 Presidential Inauguration as a place to aggregate information on the actions of the new Democratic Congress and White House. The creators of TSM noticed a need for a hub where they could track and cite good content. Allowing users to rate external stories, TSM captilizes on web 2.0 trends. TSM was built by soliciting credible and well known young leaders in the Conservative (right-of-center) movement.
